Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering a leading Leisure organisation with the key appointment of a Financial Controller on a 12 Month FTC

We are seeking a FC candidate with a strong Technical Accounting background with proven experience within a Financial Control environment. You will be a confident people manager, experienced and confident in developing and mentoring a team.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the successful delivery of the external audit and financial statements for entities and provide expert advice to the Finance Team. To achieve this, the Financial Controller will be required to work with a broad range of stakeholders to provide guidance and challenge on accounting standards as required and deputise for the Head of Finance on all finance matters as required.

Candidate profile

• ACA/ACCA qualification experience in practice and/or industry with group finance accounting experience (5+ years PQE)
• Technically sound and up to date with current financial reporting standards (FRS102)
• Experience using a consolidation package such as SAP BPC, HFM, Cognos
• Team management experience
