Group Procurement Officer

Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering a large business based in Crawley on the hire of a Group Procurement Officer on a permanent basis.

Join a dynamic procurement team, managing supplier relationships, optimising costs, and driving sustainability initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee procurement sub-categories and suppliers
• Run tenders and negotiate contracts (up to £1.5m spend)
• Conduct market research on trends, pricing & sustainability
• Mitigate supply risks and support continuous improvement
• Analyse supplier performance and assist in new supplier approvals

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid foundational knowledge of procurement processes with strong analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and resolve problems efficiently
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills
