Group Risk Team Leader

Alexander Lloyd are currently recruiting for a Group Risk Team Leader to join an established Employee Benefits team within a large Financial Services firm. The role will be to nsure advisers receive the support they need to focus on developing existing client relationships and generating new business. You will also play a key role in building strong client relationships, maintaining high service standards and driving a positive, collaborative team culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who enjoys leading people, improving processes and delivering an outstanding client experience.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the SME Risk support team, including resource planning, task delegation, workload management, performance management, development and employee engagement

• Conduct regular performance reviews and support the ongoing development and progression of team members.

• Manage employee relations matters in accordance with company policies, with support from HR where required.

• Client service and portfolio management

Experience Needed:

• Previous industry experience within an insurer, employee benefits consultancy and/or financial advisory environment.

• Good working knowledge and understanding of health and protection products.

• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop excellent rapport with clients and insurers.

• Confidence in handling challenging conversations professionally and sensitively.
