I am partnering with a large corporate business seeking a proactive and confident Financial Accountant to join their financial close team on an interim basis.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and add immediate value.

Key responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, including clearing existing backlog
• Review and improve end-to-end finance processes (many currently manual)
• Implement practical efficiency and control improvements
• Work confidently with Excel (advanced level required)
• Operate independently within a fast-paced environment

You will be:

• Hands-on and delivery-focused
• Experienced in financial close environments
• Able to quickly understand and improve processes
• Confident working under pressure with minimal supervision
