Interim Financial Reporting Accountant

£350-£450 per day (DOE)
West Sussex (Office-based – driver required)

I’m partnering with a well-established organisation in West Sussex that is looking to appoint an Interim Financial Reporting Accountant to support the finance team during a busy reporting and project period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with extensive financial reporting experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
• Preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP
• Producing statutory and management reporting across multiple entities
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining control account integrity
• Supporting the external audit process and responding to audit queries
• Identifying and implementing reporting and process improvements
• Working closely with senior finance stakeholders on technical accounting matters

Essential Requirements

• Recent hands-on US GAAP reporting experience is essential
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background
• Previous experience working within a large, complex, multi-entity organisation
• Strong audit exposure and the ability to work independently
