Are you an experienced finance leader looking for an opportunity to make a real impact?

I’m working exclusively with a well-established charity seeking an Interim Head of Finance to lead the finance function through an exciting period of change and transformation.

Reporting into the SLT and Board, you’ll oversee a small finance team, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting and effective governance. You’ll also play a key role in improving processes, upgrading finance systems and supporting the future development of the function.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the finance function and managing a small team
• Producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Supporting statutory accounts and audit processes
• Strengthening financial controls and reporting
• Improving finance systems, processes and efficiencies
• Supporting cash flow management and strategic planning
• Providing insight and challenge to senior stakeholders

We’re looking for:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Experience leading a finance function (charity/not-for-profit experience desirable but not essential)
• Strong management accounting, reporting and budgeting experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
• A hands-on approach with experience of change, transformation or process improvement
