We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Lead to oversee payroll operations on a temporary contract (up to 3 months). This role is perfect for a payroll professional who can hit the ground running and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the payroll function.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the payroll team of 2 payroll co-ordinators, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery
  • Oversee payroll processes, compliance, and reporting requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll queries and escalations
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders on payroll matters
  • Ensure payroll systems (ADP) are used effectively and processes are continuously improved

About You:

  • Proven experience in payroll management or team leadership
  • Strong working knowledge of ADP payroll systems (essential)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise across all levels of the business
  • Available at short notice for a temporary assignment
