We are currently partnered with a Council who are looking for a contractor for 20 days to provide consultancy support regarding the operation of the Teacher’s Pensions Scheme.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Calculation of full-time equivalent salary in respect of death in service benefits for the teacher’s/tutors on variable hour contracts
• To conduct a comprehensive review of the Council’s approach as a scheme employer to ensure that this specific project is being undertaken correctly and effectively
• Suggest best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the scheme’s administration

Essential Criteria:

• Experience working on Teacher’s Pensions Schemes
• Proven track record of successfully managing similar consultancy projects

This can be remote and can be completed over a number of weeks alongside other work.
