Pension Implementation Consultant

You’re an analytical thinker with a strong background in system configuration and client delivery and a good understanding of the UK pensions sector? Then this could be the role for you! In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering transition and change projects-ensuring all aspects are completed on time, to a high standard. You’ll work closely with our Pension clients to understand their requirements, configure our systems, and deliver tailored solutions that drive efficiency and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and interpret client requirements and processes, translating them into effective system solutions.
• Engage with clients throughout the implementation cycle to understand requirements, data, and systems.
• Conduct system demonstrations and provide expert recommendations.
• Collect, document, and validate product or scheme information.
• Review and improve business processes and operational procedures.
• Manage system configuration activities and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Deliver automation of complex calculations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Lead client implementation projects, ensuring delivery milestones are met.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in system configuration and implementation projects.
• Strong Pension experience – from an administration, analyst, data background

This role also requires a good level of Excel expertise and any experience around the use of filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups, control totals, IF and nested IF statements and formatting of cells to specific guidelines would be highly advantageous.
