Pension Specialist

Alexander Lloyd are working on a rare opportunity to join a well-established In House Pension team within a Pension Specialist role where you will be responsible for providing vital assistance to the Pensions Management Team, supporting the different specialisms within the team including operations, strategy, trustee secretariat, investments, communications and membership support. This is an extremely varied role where the right candidate will get a full understanding of the entire Pension scheme by supporting the managers of each different section ensuring that you gain extensive well-rounded training and knowledge of all areas of the Pensions sector.

Main duties of the role will include:

• Supporting the Pensions Director and all members of the Pensions Management Team with both project delivery and business as usual tasks.
• Assist with monitoring the performance of the external administrator including managing and escalating member cases, seeking, and delivering continuous improvement and reporting to stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent governance to the Trustees, including helping with the logistics of managing the Trustee Board and their committee meetings.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to deliver the communications strategy to employees and members of the pension schemes, including regular member newsletters, digital communications, and websites.
• Support the day-to-day operational requirements.
