Are you a pensions professional looking for a dynamic, client-facing role where your expertise makes a genuine difference?
Using your strong pensions knowledge and interpersonal skills, you’ll play a key role as a Support Trustee, working collaboratively across a broad portfolio of Sole Trusteeship appointments. This role would suit someone with a strong DB understanding from a Techncial, administrative, consulting or analyst background who is keen on a new challenge where you can learn new skills and look to build a career within a Trustee frm.

What You’ll Do

  • Attend trustee and catch-up meetings with advisers and clients
  • Act as a “second pair of eyes” on key trustee decisions
  • Challenge the Lead Trustee and advisers, taking the lead where appropriate
  • Contribute to diversity of thought and best-practice governance
  • Drive improved member outcomes through robust, compliant decision-making

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong working knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pensions legislation, from an actuarial, administration, covenant, investment, or legal background (consulting or in-house)
  • A proactive, flexible approach to applying your expertise across diverse schemes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Confidence operating in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • A commitment to professional development – support provided for APPT or PMI accreditation
  • Curiosity about pensions innovation and a passion for continuous learning
  • Willingness to develop new business and client relationship skills
