Senior Reward Consultant IPO Programme (12 Month FTC)

Shape the reward strategy behind a major IPO journey.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reward professional to lead a critical workstream within a high-profile IPO programme. This is not a business-as-usual reward role; it is a transformational opportunity to design and implement the reward, executive compensation and governance frameworks required to support a business moving towards life as a publicly listed company.

Working closely with senior executives, Board stakeholders and external advisers, you will play a pivotal role in creating reward structures that are commercially effective, market competitive and aligned to the expectations of institutional investors, remuneration committees and public markets.

The Opportunity

As the subject matter expert for Reward, you will lead the design and delivery of key reward initiatives required as part of IPO readiness and ongoing listed company governance.

You will operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, managing one programme workstream and influencing senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, Company Secretariat and Executive Leadership.

This role offers significant visibility and genuine impact, with responsibility for helping shape the future reward landscape of a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of reward frameworks to support IPO readiness and post-listing requirements.
  • Develop executive remuneration structures, incentive arrangements and long-term reward strategies.
  • Design and implement share plans, equity-based compensation schemes and long-term incentive plans (LTIPs).
  • Support the development of remuneration governance frameworks, policies and approval processes.
  • Prepare high-quality papers, recommendations and presentations for Executive Committees, Remuneration Committees and Board-level forums.
  • Work with external advisers on executive compensation, market benchmarking, share plans and governance matters.
  • Use market data and reward analytics to provide commercially balanced recommendations.
  • Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies and implementation challenges across the reward programme.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted adviser on reward-related matters.

About You

We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience in one or more of the following:

  • IPO or pre-IPO company reward programmes.
  • Executive compensation and remuneration governance.
  • Share plans, equity compensation, LTIPs, RSUs, SAYE, SIP, CSOP or similar arrangements.
  • Reward transformation, reward strategy or large-scale reward redesign projects.
  • Remuneration Committee and Board-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Reward consulting, in-house reward leadership or executive reward advisory roles.

Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in a landmark corporate transaction, helping shape the reward, executive compensation and governance framework of a business at a pivotal stage in its evolution.

If you have experience of reward within an IPO, listed company, executive compensation or share plan environment and are seeking a high-impact assignment, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
