An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, multi-disciplined Employee Benefits Consultant to join a dynamic Employee Benefits team within an award-winning Financial Planning Group. This is an rare opportunity to join the Employee Benefits division who have established themselves as a leading Corporate Advisory provider with a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to multinational organisations.

This role will involve the ongoing management and development of an existing client portfolio, alongside the generation of new business to support the continued growth of the core proposition and the team delivers a broad spectrum of benefits beyond standard risk, pensions, and health offerings, tailoring solutions to meet each client’s specific needs.

This flexible and client-focused approach requires a collaborative team player who can contribute effectively across a variety of responsibilities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare and draft reports and tender submissions as required
  • Advise on, tailor, and implement flexible benefit platforms
  • Accurately maintain back-office systems and records
  • Demonstrate experience and understanding of DC Group Pensions and Auto Enrolment legislation
  • Advise on and implement Workplace Pensions, Group Risk, and Health-related benefits
  • Ensure fees and invoicing are processed and recorded in a timely manner

Essential Requirements

  • Professionally qualified to a minimum of Level 4 (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in delivering employee benefits consultancy
  • Ability to manage and develop a portfolio of clients
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Strong knowledge of Group Pensions, Risk, and Health markets and products
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively in both office and hybrid environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships across teams
  • Effective workload management to ensure high levels of service to internal and external stakeholders
