The main purpose of the role will be to lead the extraction, analysis, cleansing, and processing of complex pensions data, and to deliver scheme events and projects in line with client requirements, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver scheme events and project requirements in collaboration with Scheme Event Leads and the Scheme Events Manager, ensuring agreed timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are met.
- Review the work of Pensions Data Technicians, providing feedback, guidance, and technical support.
- Take ownership of the accuracy, quality, and completion of all assigned scheme events and project work.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, breaches, or issues in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously review processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, pensions legislation, and regulatory frameworks, including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
- Support management with wider business activities such as audits, ad hoc projects, and process improvements.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the delivery of assigned scheme events and projects from planning through to completion.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.
- Promote high standards of customer service and share knowledge across the team.
- Accurately record time and activity using workflow systems.
- Identify potential commercial opportunities and support cost estimation where appropriate.
