Strategic People Partner (Senior HR Business Partner)
Location: London / Hybrid 3 days onsite
Salary: £100,000-£150,000 plus benefits
The Opportunity
Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a large, complex organisation undergoing significant transformation, looking to appoint a Strategic People Partner to work at the heart of the business.
This is a senior, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with executive and senior leaders to shape and deliver a people strategy that directly supports business performance. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, bringing both strategic insight and hands-on leadership across talent, organisational design, and cultural transformation.
The Role
You’ll operate as a key partner to senior leadership, translating business priorities into clear, actionable people plans and delivering initiatives that drive engagement, capability, and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
·Partnering with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives
·Leading organisational design and development programmes to improve effectiveness
·Diagnosing performance gaps and implementing targeted people interventions
·Driving talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
·Embedding cultural change aligned to strategic goals
·Using data, insight, and commercial awareness to inform decision-making
·Collaborating across specialist HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions
This role will suit someone who thrives in a matrixed, fast-paced environment, and who is comfortable influencing at the most senior levels.
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded HR leader with strong strategic capability and influencing skills.
You’ll bring:
·Proven experience operating as a senior HR Business Partner / People Partner
·A strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and executive teams
·Experience leading organisational design and transformation initiatives
·Deep expertise across talent, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness
·The ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity with confidence
·Strong analytical capability, using data to drive insight and decision-making
·Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
