Alexander Lloyd are working with a large organisation in East Sussex seeking a German speaking Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team on a full time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work alongside the existing finance team to deliver monthly Germany accounts, with a particular focus on purchase ledger and expenses.
The duties of the role will include: ·Process, review and file incoming invoices ·Ensuring there is no discrepancies with all invoices and expense requests ·Manage and delivery the P/L and balance sheet for month & year end process ·Reconcile supplier expenses/ cash accounts ·Prepare various journal entries ·Payment runs for invoices and expenses ·Maintain the fixed asset register ·Manages, posts and reconcile prepayments and accruals
We are looking to speak to candidates who have business proficiency in German. The ideal candidate will be working towards an accountancy qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or German equivalent) or be qualified by experience.
