We are currently seeking a part time accounts assistant for an SME business based in Tadworth for a permanent position. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong skills and experience in finance & accountancy and the ability to commit long term to a business.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Record balances of all bank accounts and print out daily movement sheets. * Prepare payment runs at the appropriate time either by cheque or by bank transfer. * Update main cash book and reconcile the bank account daily. * Prepare and enter all bank payments/transfers in Barclays System for approval. * Perform all non-automatic cash book postings/allocations. * Send out Sales Ledger Statements. * Process Credit Card & Paypal receipts. * Post invoices to the purchase ledger. * Receive, log in and file purchase ledger invoices. * Agree the invoices with the supplier statements. * Distribute invoices to authorised personnel for approval. * Fill in bank paying-in book. * Update daily Sales order summary. * Maintain petty cash and post month end entries. * Enter the nominal ledger codes on the invoices. * Maintain holiday records and attendance sheets. * Undertake such other duties as may be requested by the Financial Controller.
This is a part time position and the business are flexible in regards to the hours worked weather it be to fit around childcare or personalised as the candidate wishes.
