A well established IT business based in Brighton are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work with there business on a 3 month contract.
The role would suit a candidate that has worked within fast paced environment that is happy to take on a variety of task and collaborate with pretty much everyone in the business. You will be processing anything from expenses, to raising sales invoices with the Commercial team and reporting directly to the Finance Director
·Petty cash control
·Expenses & corporate credit control reconciliations
·Ownership of credit control
·Ownership of the purchase ledger
·Assistance with raising sales invoices
·Managing the weekly payment run
·Assistance with the monthly management accounts
·Preparing monthly payroll & liaison with payroll providers
·Submitting monthly pension returns
·Monthly spend vs budget departmental reports
·Assistance with quarterly VAT return
·Assistance with weekly cashflow
·Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc requests
Ideally the candidate will be able to join the team ASAP
