This well regarded and highly reputable organisation are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Officer to join them in a new role where you will work closely with a Recruitment Lead and HR team to support the existing recruitment needs on a fixed term basis for 6 months
Create and lead attraction techniques for sessional GPs. Identify opportunities for attraction events and take a lead role in attending events and networking in person, by phone and through social media in conjunction with the Comms Team. Work closely with the GP lead, Operations management and rota teams to determine the needs of the business when attracting and contracting sessional GPs. Build a recruitment pipeline to enable the locality to build a strong clinical bank of sessional GPs. Identify areas where we can improve and streamline the process for recruiting sessional GPs. Ensure that the Sessional GP Policy is adhered to and GPs are not able to work until the required checks are in place. As this role covers the Sussex and Surrey locality, travel within the locality and, occasionally to the Kent Office, is expected. Work with the GP Recruitment Lead, Medical Director and/or Associate Medical Director to complete shortlisting, screening CV's, telephone interviews, booking appointments for and assist with GP interviews. Taking a lead role in processing recruitment paperwork ensuring the central HR team have everything in place. Where appropriate play a part in standard employee recruitment, although the focus for this position is that of clinical and sessional recruitment
Ideally you will be CIPD Qualified or part qualified Have strong, local recruitment knowledge Good systems knowledge and ability to learn new systems Full clean driving licence Strong communicator with the ability to engage at all levels Previous recruitment experience as either an internal or external recruitment agent Experience of working in a busy HR department or recruitment agency Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive material
