Fantastic Brighton-based Interim HR Opportunity

This successful Financial Services organisation based near Brighton are seeking an Interim HR Business Partner for an initial 12 months.

This role supports the HR Director in the execution and delivery of the HR strategy and ensures the alignment of functional people plans with the business strategy. Leads and coordinates the work of the HRBP team, working in partnership with senior leaders across the organisation to support the delivery of functional people plans within their areas, ensuring that an environment is created in which our people can perform at their best, develop their capability and that the people impact of any changes/initiatives are planned for and managed effectively.

Key accountabilities:
·Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the HRBP team, including coordination of activities across the business.
·Delivery of HR projects and plans, working collaboratively with stakeholders and contributing to Executive team decisions by completing elements of research, providing information, analysis and recommending solutions.
·Drive the people processes (performance, development, talent, reward etc) to ensure performance and capability meet current and future requirements.
·Champion the use of best practice HR processes within the business, to ensure managers receive effective support in terms of employee relations, communication, recruitment and recognition, performance management and appraisal.
·Leverage the expertise in the people team in employee relations, reward and learning and development etc as required to facilitate the best possible outcome for the business.
·Work in partnership with senior managers to develop people plans for change initiatives including consultations, redundancies and restructures. Involve the relevant team members to ensure a cohesive approach is adopted.
·Ensure compliance to all HR Governance, legislation, regulations and risk management processes.
·Support the delivery of cyclical reward and performance processes within the client group's business areas.
·Coach and guide managers on policies and implementation and ensure consistency and best practice approaches.

The successful candidate will be available to start in July. A CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) HR Business Partner, you will have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and relevant case law. This role has 2 direct reports, so previous leadership experience is essential, coupled with HR experience gained within the Financial Services sector.

A competitive salary of up to £65k (d.o.e.) is available for this rare, Sussex based opportunity.
