This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process and the outsourced transactional processing. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities are varied and includes: * Cash flow monitoring * Liaison with outsource provider of purchase ledger * Resolution of queries and disputes in a timely manner * Working closely with the finance and customer service teams * Petty cash * Providing support as required to the Management Accountant * Management of supplier relationships; supplier queries, request of credit notes and missing invoices * Reviewing employee expense claims
The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a busy finance team with a strong understanding of the end to end Purchase ledger process. This role will suit individuals with an ability to show initiative and a 'can do' attitude to pick up tasks outside of whats expected. It would be advantageous to be studying your AAT with experience of taking ownership of and resolving supplier queries
