This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant looking to make the first move from accountancy practice or Qualified within industry that is looking for exposure within a large corporate organisation.
Salary - Up to £50K Benefits
Location - Colchester (Fantastic WFH options)
Your duties will include but not be limited too:
* Maintaining the integrity of the UK ledgers, overseeing the month end close and ensuring entries passed by other Finance and non-Finance teams
* Preparing month end reporting based on legal entity P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Acting as a point of contact for all legal entity related queries.
* Supporting the preparation of the annual financial statements under GAAP/FRS102 and coordinating the external audit process in partnership
* Providing regular financial updates and results analysis to the boards and operating committees.
* Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of all Regulatory and Statutory Reporting requirements
* Preparing and regularly updating legal entity forecasts.
Qualifications - External
* Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA
* Experience in accounting, reporting and statutory audit
* Strong technical financial accounting knowledge
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills
