Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a prestigious Law firm based in Crawley who are seeking an Accounts Assistant due to internal growth. We are ideally looking to speak with individuals who have relevant skills and experience.
You will be a crucial member of the revenue team alongside a wider finance team of 23, your main responsibilities include:
* Manage live matters, ensuring WIP and disbursements are recovered, client balances are zero
* Reconcile ledgers and deal with fee earners
* Write off small balances
* Transfer monies within the client ledgers complying with solicitor rules
* Attend group meetings
* Time transactions
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience working with Solicitor Accounts Rules
* A strong understanding of fee earner and time recording
* Knowledge of bill production
An excellent remuneration package of up to £24,000 is on offer Benefits! Standard working hours are 9-17.15. Given the strange time we find ourselves in home working is available.
