Alexander Lloyd are proud to be exclusively partnering with a global consultancy business located in Crawley. Due to continued growth they are now seeking to add an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and develop a team of 10 .
Your duties will include but not be limited too:
* Manage, coach and develop the team, direct line management of payment supervisors and indirectly payment assistants
* Manage and prioritise the workload of the teamand report on KPIs
* Manage the overall processes and controls of the payments function, ensure work is carried out in line with procedures
* Continually develop and improve/streamline the processes within the team
* Monthly reporting to Finance management around payments, payment ledgers and the team
* Review of all payment runs and ad hoc payments before approval
* Build relationships with internal clients and external suppliers
* Project work as required
You will have the following skill set:
* Worked within a mid to large size business and managed teams of 6
* Extensive experience within a fast paced and dynamic AP/PL department
* Solid Excel ability. Pivot table, vlookup
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience of SAP or Concur beneficial but not essential
