A 12 month contract for an HR Generalist has arisen in this engineering organisation based in Crawley, West Sussex. Providing a supportive, advisory HR service to c150 FTE on site, you will actively participate in UK and global HR projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

* Be a trusted advisor and provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters
* Collaborate with HR Manager and the Global HR team on company-wide policies and initiatives.
* Organise and conduct employee information meetings on HR related topics.
* Lead and/or participate in global HR projects.
* Support current and future business needs for employee development, engagement and motivation.
* Participate in discussions with unions/employee representatives.
* Provide input to HR statistics and KPIs.
* Manage and support recruitment processes from start to finish
* Coordinate internal and external training and recruitment activities
* Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines. Labour Law and relevant legislation.
* Collaborate with internal and/or external payroll partner as required to ensure employee`s monthly payroll.
* Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
* In collaboration with the Global HR team, support annual activities such as the performance review process, promotion process and compensation review.
* Advise individuals and people managers on employee relation activity such as probations, performance improvement plans, disciplinary processes and other business matters.

Successful applicants will ideally be CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) and be confident operating on a stand alone basis. Experience to HR Advisor level is essential. In return this contract offers some great exposure to HR Project work on a global scale, in a warm and friendly culture.
