Payroll Assistant

JOB DETAILS

This well known and highly reputable client are currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to support the business. The right candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude with a hands on and team orientated approach to work. You will be a very pro-active and independent individual.

The role is a very fast paced environment where you will responsible for

* Supporting with monthly payroll ensuring that all data is accurate and inputted in a timely manner
* Handle personal data of applicants in compliance with Data Protection requirements
* Support the payroll officer with required payroll checks
* Resolution of payroll queries
* Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant legislation
* Input all data changes into the payroll systems in a timely manner including new starter forms/amendments
* Manage employee expenses and process payments through payroll ensuring approval has been obtained and receipts.
* Support payroll officer in ensuring changes to pension scheme are updated where necessary.
* Manage invoices in a timely manner

Ideally, you will have a background in PAYROLL and be able to work as part of a team or on your own
* Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
* Must be willing to take instruction from others and work as part of a team
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadline
* Great attention to detail
* Strong IT skills including Excel
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Confident, outgoing personality
* Hardworking, reliable and flexible
* Has integrity, energy, lots of enthusiasm and is hardworking, likeable and approachable
