Procurement Analyst


As Procurement Analyst working for a leading brand name you will play a key role supporting a newly formed procurement team in the indirect space.

This exciting opportunity will include:

* Develop and track Procurement metrics including areas of spend analytics, Procurement performance, operational efficiencies, supplier performance, contract compliance and benefits capture to drive Procurement strategy development and implementation
* Provide expertise in process and systems; contribute to the development and implementation of Procurement processes and systems including documentation; Support the Procurement team through market research and intelligence
* Strive to continuously improve procurement performance by utilising and understanding best practices, lessons learned and industry trends
* Development of appropriate data and reports in order to measure and manage Procurement deliverables & provide a visual representation or dashboard for the Procurement team and Business Units
* Ensure availability of optimal reporting tools for management and user community to conduct analytical decision making
* Responsibility for ensuring the Procurement team have access to appropriate, accurate, timely and informative data in order to deliver innovative solutions and industry-leading performance
* Deliver insightful data and reporting to key functional business units and stakeholders
* Proactive opportunity identification and implementation of innovative processes and approaches
* Manage the risk associated with the category spend, deploying analytical tools and data sources to assess risk, identify trends and recommend action

Suitable candidates will be highly numeric and analytical (advanced Microsoft excel) with the ability to work in a newly formed team where process and policy needs to be developed. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels within the business.
