An opportunity for a permanent Accounts Assistant has become available with a renowned business located in East Grinstead.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Match invoices to systems costs and investigate any discrepancies. * Prepare and process payments in multicurrency's. * Ongoing communication with suppliers with regards to payments and queries. * Investigating month end creditor's queries. * Assist with other Accounts processes as required, such as customer receipts and refunds. * Set up and process payments on reservation system. * Set up new suppliers and maintain supplier accounts. * Investigating invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments, this will require interpreting and understanding contracts. * Responsible for timely and accurate payment of large number of overseas suppliers covering multiple currencies. * Manage deductions from suppliers with regards to contributions owed. * Reconcile supplier statements. * Posting payments in Sage.
The successful candidate will poses the following skills and experience and attributes: * Rounded accounts experience in receivables and payable. * Be driven and ambitious looking for a long term position. * Either AAT qualified or studying towards AAT.
