I am working with a leading consumer goods organisation based near Guildford on a Reward & Payroll advisor. This will be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to specialise their knowledge within HR.
Purpose of Job
·Provide a professional, consistent payroll and rewards service to all customers
·To deliver consistent, clear advice and support to line managers and employees for payroll , and reward related queries
·To identify queries that require specialist advice and escalate where appropriate
·Provide efficient day to day management and support throughout annual Reward processes, including salary/bonus review, benefit renewals and promotion.
·To continuously monitor and suggest improvements on the companies reward initiatives

Nature & Scope of the Job
·To support the payroll team in ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time
·To support the processing and input of weekly and monthly payrolls for approx1500 employees
·Responsible for keeping payroll data and files up to date and completion of relevant forms P45's, P46's etc
·Continually review rewards offering, ensuring compliance with legislation and informing the senior team of movements in legislation
·Continually Benchmark the company's reward offerings

Principal Accountabilities
·Accountable for the delivery of payroll support and administration
·Accountable for the day to day management of the companies reward offerings.
·Ensure that all relevant information is entered onto the appropriate system in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
·Provision of timely, accurate advice and support to the business
·Meet and exceed HR CSC Service Level Agreements
·Suggest process improvements to the payroll and rewards service
·Ensure all relevant data is accurate, complete and up to date (employee data / files etc)
·Carry out improvements to the way advice and support is delivered as required
·Promote the companies reward offerings working with team members to use established communication channels
·Provide effective and professional Reward and Benefits support to the company.
·Proactively support the Head of HR Services and Reward to manage day to day operational Reward and Benefits administration.
·Provide day to day account management of reward services.
·Support the wider HR Team with the delivery of annual and ad-hoc Reward and Benefits projects and activities as necessary.
·Prepare Reward and Benefits communications for key processes for new joiners, pension contribution changes and updates.
·Provide a first point of contact for all reward and benefit queries.
·Provide efficient day to day management and support throughout annual Reward processes, including salary/bonus review, benefit renewals and promotion.
·Assist with the production, design and communication of staff benefits information.

Knowledge & Experience Required
·Experience of processing payrolls
·Experience of advising on and day to day management of companies reward scheme
·Must maintain complete confidentiality and exercise integrity and discretion at all times
·Ability to provide suitable solutions based on information available.
·Proven ability to manage a complex workload and prioritise as required
·Experience of working in a shared service environment or complex advisory role
·Excellent attention to detail and communication skill, including a professional telephone manner
·Confident to deal with all levels of employees across the organisation
·Ability to work on own initiative and work well under pressure and not afraid to ask questions
·Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service
·Flexible attitude to assist in other areas of the team as and when the business needs demand it

Salary - £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
