Our client a leading FMCG/Retail organisation are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join and a very busy and ever growing business in Haywards Heath on a 9-12 months contract
You will be working with Financial Controller to support in the day to day Accounts and month end financial activities for the UK companies in the group. This role might suite someone that has worked in a standalone role previously and now looking to join a team. Your be responsible for and not limited to: * Assisting in the completion of Month End Reporting Packages * Balance Sheet reconciliations, Fixed Asset registers, Prepayments, Accruals, Cash and Bank reconciliations. * Working closely with the Financial Controller to develop procedures and controls to meet expanding business needs. * Working with Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and efficient management of the AP ledger.
Key skills * Ideally you will be AAT qualified/part qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified * Accounting/Accounts Payable experience * A logical approach to problem solving * Experience in process/systems development and improvement * Knowledge of JD Edwards Accounting System would also be beneficial
This role is a very busy role that offers competitive salary for a 9-12 month contract
