A leading Organisation based close to the station in Haywards Heath has an immediate requirement for a Accounts Assistant to join them on a contract basis for 9 months.
This is an opportunity that involves ensuring all transactions and reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Some of you responsibilities will include:
* Preparation and review of bank reconciliations * Raise invoices in the accounts system * Processing insurance declarations and dealing with any queries * Creation and issue of Direct Assist commission statements * Produce client invoices * Reconcile Payment receipts * Create Payment statements * Any Ad-hoc duties including providing cover for other members of the team
The essentials: *Prior experience in a Finance operations team *Good Excel skills *Able to deliver high quality standard whilst achieving deadlines *Excellent communication skills *Team player *Good attention to detail *Flexibility *Ability to prioritise *Good organisational skills *Ability to meet deadlines *Self-motivated and able to work proactively *Calm under pressure The desirables: *Experience in using SAP System *Further study in Finance such as AAT or ACCA *Knowledge of insurance industry
