This highly reputable local company have an interesting and varied opportunity for an Internal Recruiter to join this professional organisation on a 3 months contract where you will support the Head of People in the development of recruitment and onboarding strategy, policy and procedures.

To lead the development of innovative and creative recruitment solutions, coordinating a range of recruitment activities with the support of the HR Business Partner (Recruitment and Training)
* To lead the development of recruitment and onboarding strategy, policy and procedures, and systems and processes
* To work in partnership with Service Managers, providing appropriate coaching and support, to develop local/service-specific recruitment strategies and plans
* To develop robust monitoring systems and report on agreed performance indicators for recruitment and onboarding
* To liaise with the Senior Management Team and Service Managers to establish recruitment needs
* To assist with the development and maintenance of positive relationships (e.g. Employment/other agencies, local colleges, universities), promoting Active Prospects and the organisation's values , to help identify candidates and build a recruitment pipeline
* To oversee the management of candidates through the recruitment process from initial enquiry to onboarding, promoting the organisation's values
* To liaise with the Marketing and Communications Manager and HR Business Partner (Recruitment and Training) to ensure social media is used to best effect to support recruitment campaigns
* As the internal recruitment expert, to use skills and knowledge to coach and develop the HR team
* To write adverts and draft or update Job Descriptions and Person Specifications in liaison with the Senior Management team or Service Managers, as required

The successful applicant must be available on short notice and be able to commit for the 3 months, you will have significant experience of leading or coordinating internal recruitment (ideally within an HR department)
Sound knowledge of employment law relating to recruitment and onboarding, and of good practice
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Excellent (Level 2) English and good maths skills
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and ability to use HR systems/databases to input and extract data
CIPD Certificate in Human Resources Practice (Level 3) or equivalent
