A recognised, award-winning specialist within the UK Pensions field are currently looking to recruit an IT Developer to join the business; to provide Pension software support, configuration, testing and consultancy services for its staff that are completing a variety of day-to-day Pensions administration tasks. The Pensions Systems Developer will be required to analyse the needs of internal teams and define, configure, test, implement and maintain specific Pensions calculation elements of the company's software. To do this, you will be required to remain up-to-date with legislation and industry changes, in order to fully appreciate the impact any changes may have to the functionality of the client's Pension system.
For your application to be successful, you will need to have a proven track record of working in a similar Pensions IT/Systems role, and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of past and present software tools and programming languages used within the industry (such as SQL, SAS and Abinitio suite). This isn't neccessarily a role for an IT professional; more for someone with good grounding with the Pensions industry who can develop software (rather than writing code etc.).
