A small but globally successful organisation are looking to attract a Procurement Category Manager to their Kent based team.
Working in a newly formed Category structure you will take a lead to ensure the effective and continued transformation of the procurement department. This will include:
* Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders through close working * Identify and deliver sourcing opportunities through analysis of the category trends * Lead end to end procurement cycle including the preparation of pre tender, tender, execution and contract award * Support the business in drafting specifications * Continually improve team processes * Play a lead role in the culture transformation working with the business to modify and improve ways of working.
Suitable applicants will have a leaning towards IT Category experience. If you have worked in a digital technology organisation that would also be an advantage.
This role is paying £50k-£60k depending on experience and is a genuine chance to shape a new procurement team going through a significant period of transformation.
