Our client, an exciting and growing brand in the restaurant sector are seeking a Head Of People to lead the HR function and develop a high performing People team that provides dedicated Business Partnering support, helping drive the company and the People initiatives forward.
Key duties include:
·Provide HR Business input and coaching to the UK & International leadership team (as appropriate). ·Lead the People team, including: talent acquisition, L&D, employee engagement, succession planning, people development, performance management and organisational development. ·Champion a performance culture which supports employee development, making recommendations for improvements Devise a manpower plan to enable resourcing to be managed strategically. Ensure the company complies with all current and any new employment legislation that is implemented in the UK and where appropriate international territories. Communicate changes in legislation to all relevant individuals providing training or changing processes or procedures where necessary. Develop and implement HR activities to enhance employee engagement ·Drive internal talent development to ensure strong succession plans are in place Implement a strong Business Partner approach putting in place systems and processes that help the business grow effectively without inhibiting the entrepreneurial approach and agile change culture. Drive strong team based and individual performance management practices and culture, that focuses on career conversations and personal development.
Successful applicants will have operational HR experience at a senior level within the hospitality or leisure sector, and a demonstrable ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level. CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) is preferred, you will be an experienced manager of people with a strong knowledge of UK employment law. Flexibility to travel is required.
