Alexander Lloyd are currently partnering a Global Financial Services organisation with the key hire of a Finance Systems Development Analyst (NetSuite)
We are seeking a candidate with a very strong finance process background and understanding (ideally a qualified accountant) but is now in a system development, system management-type role and have worked with NetSuite and/or OpenAir (or very similar)
This role is the primary liaison between systems developers and the operational/functional groups delivering solutions within the Enterprise IT Solutions environment. These solutions include transformation initiative as well as supporting the cloud systems implementation program. The selected candidate will work directly with operational groups within various business groups, Consulting Operations, Finance and IT delivery to translate business needs and processing control requirements into design specifications. The candidate will also be responsible for the development of test plans and coordination with program and project managers to maintain task/action plans that exist within the overall Enterprise IT delivery program.
The role requires a thorough knowledge and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, primarily MySQL/SQL, and a comfort level integrating with technology including all aspects of client server computing, Microsoft Office, and the extended Suite of Office tools. The candidate in this role must be able to create and run complex SQL queries.

* Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL query tools * Candidates must have technical comfort working with database applications * Working knowledge of the NetSuite ERP systems environment, OpenAir * Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles (GL, AP, FA, Revenue Recognition, Capital Expense Management, ideally a qualified accountant) * Able to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong initiative, the ability to motivate peers and the ability to work independently within a team structure. Ability to interact in a service-oriented environment. * Self-starter who is highly motivated to achieve results. * Exceptional knowledge of Office/Office 365 applications including Visio and Microsoft Project. *
