Procurement Category Manager
West Sussex or Manchester.

This is a fast paced business looking for a Category Manager.

If you love designing, implementing and managing categories this is for you. You will deliver value for money, minimises risk and align with procurement strategies.

Main responsibilities:

* Collaborate with key stakeholders
* Develop and execute an ongoing strategic sourcing plan across all spend.
* End-to-end procurement project
* Use market insight and analysis to build strategy in line with stakeholders.
* Build strong effective working relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and the wider business areas.
* Structure and lead commercial negotiations.

Essential to the role:

* MCIPS qualification or equivalent desirable.
* A background in claims or category management.
* Formulation and implementation of category strategies.
* Negotiating critical contracts and minimising risk whilst maximising commercial benefit.
