One of the world's leading multinational professional services business has an excellent opportunity for a Pension Fund Accountant to join their London team. You will play an important role with supporting quarterly reviews to Trustees as well as the completion of Trustee's Annual Report and Financial Statements.
You'll work with a wide-range of contacts, internally and externally, so you'll get a real chance to use your communication and relationship skills.

About the role
·Prepare and manage the completion of the Trustee's Annual Report and Financial Statements ·Prepare quarterly pension scheme management accounts ·Prepare quarterly budget analysis ·Conduct monthly bank reconciliations ·Oversee invoice payments and analysis ·Reconcile the investment manager reports and follow up on queries ·Reconcile the custodian reports ·Prepare annual tax returns for submission to HMRC ·Take the lead in cash management ·Use SAGE postings to trial balance ·Membership statistic reconciliations ·Check, review and approve the investment management fees, ensure they are levied in accordance with the relevant investment management agreements ·Completion of ONS quarterly returns ·Quarterly reconciliation of Firms pension balances and recharge payment ·Management of Trustee portfolio on Global Independence System ·Review of investment manager AAF reports ·Updating investment mandates where required ·Attendance at quarterly governance committee meetings and presenting agenda items where relevant ·Ability to work on several complex tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines and timescales.
Skills and experience ·You will be an experienced Pensions Accountant who has experience of accounting for investments ·You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills because you will liaise, internally and externally with Trustees, auditors, third party administrators, custodians and investment managers to resolve issues and proactively suggest improvements to processes. ·You will be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic ·Excellent Microsoft Office skills ·Strong team player ·Ability to operate with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
