This Further Education sector employer is seeking an experienced, credible and effective Head of HR to manage a team of c7 FTE.
As Head of HR, you will proactively drive forward a cohesive culture of high performance within the HR Team and throughout the 2 sites to ensure that the organisation continues to meet and exceed operational and strategic goals. Working closely with the HR Director in this varied operational role, you will provide advice and guidance to Managers and Senior Leaders on all aspects of the employment cycle, act as a specialist and escalation point for employee relations, as well as leading, managing and continuously developing the HR team, our processes and procedures.
You will be degree educated (or equivalent), will hold a CIPD qualification (ideally level 7, MCIPD) and will have significant proven experience as a senior HR leader in a similar role within the Education sector.
You will have the ability to build successful working relationships and rapport quickly with staff and stakeholders at all levels, and will use your extensive employment law knowledge and people management skills to collaborate, problem solve and innovate.
This is an incredibly busy, people-centric role within an ever changing but incredibly rewarding sector and to succeed you will be articulate, organised, flexible and resilient with well-developed project and time management skills.
Experience of leading transformational change projects would be extremely advantageous, as would liaison and negotiation with Trade Unions. You will also have significant experience of analysing key HR performance indicators and data, and writing comprehensive and informative reports.
