A professional services firm with offices in London have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regulatory and Compliance Manager to join their organisation. The right candidate will have a solid understanding and knowledge of the UK insurance and reinsurance markets and regulatory frameworks including prudential requirements covering capital resources, valuation of assets, operational risk, annual returns etc. and all reporting requirements.

The main duties of the role will be to:
·To ensure the business' UK Compliance risk controls comply with the applicable laws and regulations.
·Oversee annual Compliance plans to record risk based activity for the coming year and contribute to the development and progress of the Group Compliance Plan.
·Manage the governance process with the development of an appropriate set of tools for oversight, testing and reporting and ensuring appropriate documentation is provided to regulators, including, SMCR filings, Solvency II and ORSA documentation
·Assist current Regulatory and Compliance Heads to co-lead regulatory compliance change projects concerning asset management, M&A and run-off integration, producing high quality analysis, managing stakeholders, and delivering timely advice, guidance and training to employees.
The successful candidate will be able to tackle the uncertainty that comes with changing regulatory environments. You must have insurance run-off experience; it would be advantageous if this was within non-life or re-insurance. You must be an accountable, business minded individual.
This role will naturally progress to Compliance Officer within 18 months - 2 years.
