Risk Manager - Insurance - 40% Travel throughout Europe

This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally renowned Insurance firm as a Risk Manager to support the Risk function in the development, delivery and support of systems and services, as required and to establish new or enhance existing Risk Management processes.

Areas of responsibility will include: planning, implementation, management, delivery and follow-up of Risk programs. These include: Risk Maturity Assessment, Integrated Risk and Control System, Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting, Operational Loss Event Capture programs, Key Risk Indicators, Remediation Action Monitoring, Risk Reporting as well as other programs required by the Global Risk function. Communication and business-partnering with local and regional management is essential to ensure that risks are identified, reported and managed.

The role will primarily be responsible for the Risk Management functional delivery and support for the UK & Ireland and Benelux & Nordics entities, but will also extend to regional support for projects as well as development into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specific regional or global Risk topics.

To be successful with your application, Proven work experience in a Risk, Internal/External Audit, Finance or similar function is essential. You must also be willing and happy to travel throughout Europe on an on-going basis.
