A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Category Manager to join a Surrey based award winning procurement function. Taking a lead on Professional Services procurement on a Global scale covering Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management your role will include:
* Create, develop and deliver Professional Services sourcing strategy (Corporate Services, People, Travel, IT, Facilities, Customer Services spend categories) * Source the most cost effective solutions and to fulfil the business requirements. * Develop category strategy in close connection with Head of Business Services * Develop and implement of sourcing strategies holding firm awareness of category cost structure, trends and main cost drivers * Identification, proposition and management of the implementation of savings and added value opportunities * Strive for best value for money solutions, and achieve maximum cost saving potential through tendering, negotiation, agreement award and agreement management * Accountable for maintaining quality and service standards in sourcing and category management to support existing customer relationships and to deliver continuous improvement
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate proven Professional Services / Business Services Procurement Category experience. You will have an analytical mindset and be able to natigate and use spend and supplier data to make informed business decisions.
