Fixed Asset Accountant

JOB DETAILS

Our client is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to join their expanding finance team located in Surrey to take responsibility for managing the fixed assets and associated projects

The role will be around maintaining the fixed asset registers for all business areas
Key duties and responsibilities to include:
* Post all depreciation journals and prepare forecast and budgets accordingly
* Posting of the monthly capital accruals
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets
* Support other areas in maintaining the local fixed asset registers
* Posting ad-hoc fixed asset journals on behalf of Finance Managers, Management Accountants and the central finance team
* Posting intercompany journals between business areas when in relation to fixed assets
* Monthly review of fixed asset additions
* Liaise with project and Finance Managers to ensure accurate project status and accruals
* Producing monthly fixed asset reports
* Manage the annual fixed asset verification's process across the estate

Ideally you will have excellent verbal and written communication skill and a good strong regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
* AAT, Part Qual or Qualified by Experience
* Knowledge of Fixed asset processes
* Good working knowledge of Finance Accounting systems and MS Excel
* Analytical with excellent attention to detail
* Working experience or knowledge of the Healthcare Industry would be advantageous, but not a necessity
