The Role As part of an existing team each Quality Assessor provides a Quality Assurance service ensuring that 'best advice' and 'best practice' are adopted the group's direct sales to customers (field sales and telephone based advice) and in all areas of the company's procedures and processes. Proactively supporting quality throughout all sales operations to extend to any future areas of advice / service. The business currently reviews 100% of all recommendations in the product lines you will be responsible for.
Accountability's * QA Specific: * To review an agreed number of customer files per day, and record the results of the assessment. * To escalate to the QA and T&C Oversight Manager areas of systematic weakness where additional resources will need to be allocated. * To document and communicate remedial action where risk has been identified by upholding and maintaining standards, including the Best Practice Manual and Suitability Letter Builder. * To undertake any project work as required by the QA and T&C Oversight Manager. * Develop, maintain and document appropriate monitoring systems and written procedures which facilitate the early communication of risk identification. * Contribute towards report writing, collating MI, T&C and other Compliance projects / work. * Work with all levels of staff within and outside of the business to develop, test and implement new systems / procedures and practices (and changes to those that already exist) to effectively support current regulatory and procedural requirements. o To undertake any project work as required by the Group Compliance Senior Management Team.
The Person In order to succeed in the role you will have gained practical experience within a quality assurance environment ideally within an FCA regulated business though individuals that can demonstrate exceptional QA capabilities outside of this sector may be a consideration. Ideal candidates will already have achieved the CII CF1 qualification and will be expected to pass the CII Equity Release qualification within a specific period on joining the business. A good understanding of the retirement and Lifetime Mortgage (Equity Release) market will be viewed as highly desirable. You will take a proactive approach to work and will be flexible and a good team player to ensure set goals are achieved. An analytical and methodical approach are key to the role.
