HR Business Partner
Surrey / Hybrid 50:50
£45k plus car allowance
This global wholesale organisation based in Surrey is seeking a permanent HR Business Partner to act as the key interface between HR and specific business areas within the Head Office function in order to proactively support and add value in the delivery of business objectives. You will offer generalist advice and support to all employees on HR queries and issues:
Business Partnering: Work in partnership with the business areas to fully understand the key business drivers and needs, of current and future challenges. Bring a high level of professional HR expertise to strategic people issues.
Employee Relations: Provide advice on employment law issues. Offer support and guidance on all aspects of HR processes, procedures and policies e.g. disciplinary/grievance procedures; sickness and absence management; flexible working; performance management; redundancy; TUPE; organisational restructures; maternity and resourcing.
Training and Development: Collaborate with the business, to acquire a full understanding of the business areas being supported. Identify talented individuals in their areas and build capability to support the development of this talent. Coach and support managers in order to strengthen the existing skill set to raise their capability to lead and manage change. Deliver Management training programmes.
HR Management Information System - Run reports as required cross inter-departmentally or functionally
Recruitment and Selection: Interpreting departmental and business unit plans to develop talent management strategies and succession & resource plans.
Take ownership for designated HR projects. Manage allocated project teams to deliver HR programmes. Monitor projects to ensure they deliver business improvement and are aligned with organisational objectives.
CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience), successful candidates will have demonstrable expertise as an HR Business Partner, and experience of acting as a change agent, working proactively to make organisational change happen. Experience of coaching & consulting at a senior level is essential, as is proven, project management skills & experience.
This strategic and operational HR opportunity offers a competitive salary of £45k plus £4,800 car allowance in a fast-paced and highly commercial organisation.
