Alexander Lloyd are delighted to supporting this Local Government Organisation on the urgent recruitment of an HR Manager for an initial 6-8m FTC.

This is an exciting contract to get involved in as they go through a forward thinking restructure within the HR Department.

You will ideally have a full HR generalist background with strong knowledge of ER, Employment Law and have been through a similar restructure/change programme.

You will be managing a team through this time of uncertainty so empathy will be at the heart of everything you do. You will need to be a leader not just a line manager, reassure, build confidence and help develop the HR Team.

The successful incumbent will be ready to hit the ground running, have a good mix of operational and strategic experience (2/3 Operational), be able to step up and deputise for the HRD and provide the support and guidance to the current HR Team.

You will have/Need:-

* Full HR Generalist background
* Exceptional knowledge of ER and UK Employment Law
* Experience of restructure/change programme
* Previous experience within Local Goverbment or similar sector
* An empathetic and supportive nature
* Excellent stakeholder management
* Ability to switch between strategic and operational workload
* Immediately available

The role offer excellent flexible working and is 90% remote. The role can be fully remote if required, however some face to face connection with the team would be preferred.

The salary on offer is up to £55,000 DOE plus benefits
