Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator seeking the next move in your career?
Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering with a prestigious educational body with a rich history in Surrey, who are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the team on a permanent, full time basis.
You will join a team of 4 and will be the main point of contact for all Payroll related duties and queries, reporting directly into the Head of HR. A broad role, your duties will include, but not be limited to;
* Maintain and collate information from a variety of sources to process monthly payroll * Calculate any statutory payments, such a SMP and SSP, making any required inputs to the payroll system. * Download from HMRC any changes * Produce and post the monthly journal to the finance system and provide reports a * Submit year end returns for PAYE and produce P60s. * Administer the calculation and payment of pension contributions * Respond promptly to any payroll related queries * Monitor the quality of the information provided to payroll and highlight any anomalies
* Add new starters to the HR system and process leavers, using P45's. * Action temporary/permanent staff salary changes, liaising with the HR team and line managers. * Calculate and input any variable pay data e.g. additional hours/overtime. * Process any salary sacrifice payments
* Produce payslips and distribute. * Administer End of Year documentation for payroll and pensions schemes.
* Have a strong background in Payroll, encompassing all of the duties above * Have experience in managing high volume Payroll * Be confident on Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel * Be able to travel to the office
In return, you will earn a salary of £27,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) alongside other benefits.
