A great opportunity has arisen to join this leading brand as a Senior Strategic Vendor Manager. Your remit will be to develop, manage and maintain the supplier management policies, standards and controls across the business. You'll use contract, service, and relationship management, to ensure great stakeholder relationships with principle risk owners, ensuring appropriate actions are undertaken across the 3rd party supply chain.
Your role will also include managing the delivery of training and support to stakeholders involved in any supplier management activity, adding value which leads to improved relationships and return on investment.
In order to succeed as a Senior Strategic Vendor Manager you'll be able to demonstrate how you: ·Engage with the Business leaders and senior stakeholders to communicate vendor exposure within their areas. ·Represent the supplier management framework through forums and leadership team meetings, ensuring minimum standards are understood ·Lead the development and implementation of the supplier management framework across all categories and business leaders ·Ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities between business areas and procurement for service, contract and relationship management ·Identify areas of exposure and support for the business, through training, technical insight and ways of working. ·Ensure supplier management approach is reflective of current regulatory requirements and supports changes that are made, from time to time ·Represent Procurement with risk owners, developing a strategic approach to planning, designing and implementing policies and controls across the business
