Talent Management & Development Manager - Surrey

This global and successful consumer-driven organisation are seeking a Learning and Development professional to be responsible for defining and implementing the Talent Management strategy for a UK and European population in a number of business units, aligning to the global talent strategy and working with senior stakeholders to identify and support the development of our people in a geographically diverse environment, sharing best practice, templates and toolkits wherever appropriate.

·Design, lead and implement the Talent Management and Development strategy, to support the achievement of business objectives

·Working with key stakeholders including HR Business Partners and Leadership teams to Identify and lead on appropriate People solutions to improve organisational performance

·Work with various business areas in developing and delivering the Learning & Development00 strategy, sharing best practice, identifying synergies and creating a consistent global approach wherever appropriate

·Lead on the talent pipeline, implementing processes for the identification of talent, succession planning and leadership development

·Contribute to global talent management and development strategy through participation in the global talent management community of practice.

·Lead a team of two Learning & Development professionals to:

oAssess Business L&D requirements and identify and develop appropriate solutions

oDevelop new or source existing material where appropriate, to meet changing business needs and ensuring adherence to industry standards

oEnsure all design and delivery supports the business' short, medium and long-term priorities, is right for the learner and supports the Business strategy

oEvaluate the success of all learning, using insights to continually improve our offer and the capability of our people

oReview and embed performance management, competency & behavioural frameworks

oLead on employee engagement initiatives, such as staff surveys and related action points

Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, developing and implanting initiatives in a multi-country environment. You will have a high level of expertise in both the design and delivery of talent, learning and development programmes, and be an experienced and effective team leader. Proven experience in developing quality, productive relationships with senior stakeholders across a wide geographical remit is essential. This is an exciting blank page for Learning & Talent in a well known, high profile organisation. Salary is up to £75k plus car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits.
