Senior Group Risk Sales Manager

This is an exciting new role for an experienced Sales Manager (with a background within the UK Group Risk market) to join one of the world's leading Employee Benefits Brokers; in an expansive new role, where you will take the lead in generating, developing and maintaining a profitable Group Risk portfolio, consistently generated through a panel of selected advisers.

Specifically, within this role, you will be meeting with existing and prospective clients on a regular basis; to ensure that you are assessing their current policy needs concerning their staff Group Risk benefits (Income Protection, Life Assurance and Critical Illness policies) and delivering products that offer comprehensive cover and good value for money, whilst also looking for new areas of business growth and cross-selling the firm's other specialist consulting areas (such as Healthcare, Pension and General Insurance brokerage services).

To achieve this, you will need to have a proven background of selling Group Risk products and schemes (either from a Provider or Broker background) to a portfolio of large corporate clients (i.e. FTSE 350 listed firms). Good communication skills is essential, as you will regularly be meeting with senior stakeholders of these businesses, who will need their needs understood and solutions subsequently delivered effectively and understandably. Qualifications linked to the industry (such as the CII and DipPFS) would be preferred, although this isn't essential, and you will need to bring a results-driven attitude to the role; the client that we're working with is built with strong candidates that add value for their clients, whilst continuously growing the business through new client acquisitions!

In return, you will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary of up to £100k (depending on experience), alongside a generous bonus and commission structure (the better you perform and the more business you bring in and retain, then the more money you earn).
